Local woman completes 10 mile race in preparation for marathon

Lisa Kiernan from Mullingar was chosen to represent Westmeath in the Dublin Marathon having won the popular vote in the Spar Spartan challenge. Lisa completed the gruelling Frank Duffy 10 mile race in the Phoenix Park on August 20 in a fantastic time of 1:49 which built on her Irish Runner five mile time of 53 minutes.
